 An affiliate of the American Dietetic Association, the Georgia Dietetic Association (GDA) is the largest organization of food and nutrition professionals in the state. GDA is committed to improving the health of Georgians utilizing our members, the state’s leaders in nutrition and health.
Nearly 1500 strong, GDA members are employed in a variety of settings including hospitals and clinics, schools, public health and community agencies, business, academia, private practice and more.
This website was developed as a key communication tool for GDA members. It will help GDA fulfill its mission, as well as provide nutrition resources for the public. Visit often for updates on member issues, public policy updates, professional development opportunities and links to nutrition resources.
I am proud to serve as the Georgia Dietetic Association President, continuing to empower members to be Georgia’s leaders in nutrition and health. I am open to ideas on how we might strengthen GDA together and would love to hear from you.
