An affiliate of the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (the Georgia Academy) is the largest organization of food and nutrition professionals in the state. The Georgia Academy is committed to improving the health of Georgians utilizing our members, the state’s leaders in nutrition and health.
Over 1500 strong, the Georgia Academy members are employed in a variety of settings including hospitals and clinics, schools, public health and community agencies, business, academia, private practice and more. Our members are spread throughout Georgia – a network of health professionals ready to serve as resources to the public, media and public policy makers.
This website was developed as a key communication tool for Georgia Academy members. It will help the Georgia Academy fulfill its mission and vision to empower members to be the state’s food and nutrition leaders and to optimize Georgian’s health through food and nutrition.
