Participants will be able to:
- Describe risk factors, diagnostic tests, and treatment options for benign and malignant breast disease
List the risks and benefits of mammography for different age groups.
- Describe the optimal diet to prevent breast cancer and cite the oral health effects of drugs to treat cancer.
- List and describe the functions ofthe female sex hormones and cite any links between hormones and gum disease.
- Discuss the latest research regarding the safety of hormone replacement therapy.
- Explain the connection between bone disease and oral health.
