Marisa Moore is the Immediate Past President of GDA and is an ADA National Spokesperson. Marisa was selected for the 2010 GDA Emerging Dietetic Leader Award.
Over 7.3 million people in the United States are vegetarian, of which 1 million are vegans. Following a vegan or vegetarian diet has become easier than ever. As the nutrition experts, we need to be prepared to provide the right guidance to our patients and clients.
